Food Truck Design – What’s Da Scoop?

This is a food truck design and branding for a food truck that sells poke bowls. The goal of this project is to create engaging visual branding for an exciting food truck as well as social ads that will entice their target audience of locals in Hawai’i. “What’s Da Scoop?” plays on the slang phrase meaning “What’s up?,” but in this case “scoop” refers to a scoop of poke. The question mark in the logo is a fish hook, reinforcing the idea that all the fish is caught fresh. The food truck features a collage of some classic Hawai’i graphics, and the chopstick covers feature a Hawaiian word and its translation. Comical slang phrases are featured throughout the branding.
